December 17, 2002, 7:00 pm - "Evening with the Author." Acclaimed author Petru Popescu will present his newest book, Oasis. Oasis is the unique love story of Mirek and Blanka Friedman, parents of Second Generation member, Iris Popescu. Come and hear this unusual tale. Books will be available for sale, and you will have the opportunity to have your book personally autographed by Petru as well as Mirek and Blanka. Second Generation has a successful psycho-social support group which currently meets every other Tuesday, from 7-9:00 PM and is facilitated by a licensed therapist. The group meets at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. To participate, you must be a paid member in good standing of Second Generation.
